Helping Students & Adult Learners Succeed Without Burnout
Higher Education Consultant | Author of Get the Degree Without Losing Your Mind

Today, more students than ever struggle with mental health, motivation, and self discipline.
Whether you’re a working professional pursuing a degree, a PhD candidate navigating burnout, or a college student trying to juggle it all—I’m here to help.
I’ve spent my career guiding and training students as well as corporate executives. I started my career in the foreign service as a U.S. diplomat when I was twenty-four years old, and it was at the State Department that I was trained by some of the nation’s best to speak on behalf of the U.S. government around the world. Since then, I’ve addressed audiences everywhere from university campuses to corporate boardrooms—guiding students, professionals, and emerging leaders alike.
Today, I speak to adult learners of all kinds:
✔ Executives earning certifications
✔ Professionals returning to school
✔ College and graduate students
✔ PhD candidates
Christina offers practical tools that address these issues at their core.
The Problem:
College is taking a toll. Deloitte reports that 70% of university students have struggled with mental health since starting school. Wiley’s Student Mental Health Landscape Report found that more than 80% face emotional difficulties, and over 25% are dealing with serious challenges—from balancing school, work, and family to covering tuition and living costs, all while feeling unprepared for a career.
According to research done by Hanover, 33% of students are concerned about their level of discipline, self-motivation, and study skills.
The Solution:
Christina’s message—rooted in decades of experience and the latest scientific research—gets to the heart of these challenges. She offers practical techniques to improve focus, memory, and concentration. In addition to teaching strategies for time management, strategic planning, and organization, Christina equips learners with tools to integrate health and wellness practices into their daily routines, enhancing efficiency, effectiveness, and overall well-being.

What People Are Saying
Meet Christina
I’m a former U.S. diplomat, seasoned public speaker, and author of Get the Degree Without Losing Your Mind—a survival guide for anyone trying to balance school, work, and real life. Over the last two decades, I’ve:
Represented the United States in official diplomatic missions by the time I was 25
Served as a professional speaker for the Fashion Institute of Design & Merchandising (FIDM) for five years
Delivered keynote speeches at national conferences, including the Dwell on Design Conference at the Los Angeles Convention Center
Facilitated high-impact corporate meetings and training sessions for hundreds of professionals at one of the world’s top consulting firms.
Through every chapter of my career, one thing has remained constant: I love to help adults learn better.
Why I Speak
There’s no one-size-fits-all roadmap for adult learners—and that’s why my book offers a toolkit of tips and tricks rather than a rigid formula.
I created my book and my keynotes to speak directly to those who often get overlooked in traditional educational conversations: the mid-career manager going back for an MBA, the parent pursuing a long-delayed bachelor’s degree, or the PhD candidate hitting a wall in year five.
My talks blend personal experience, proven frameworks, and a voice that’s clear, relatable, and motivating. Whether it’s in a lecture hall, a breakout session, or a corporate training event—I bring experience, empathy, and a deep understanding of what it means for adult learners to succeed.
In my book, success, whether academic, personal, or professional, means creating more space in your life for the people and things you love, while still getting and giving the most to your career or academic studies.
I teach adult learners how to prioritize, organize, strategize, and focus on the things that matter most to them, so they can achieve true balance–and success–in their lives.
